Your Office Visit
We will make a sincere effort to honor your scheduled appointment time. IT IS ALSO FRUSTRATING TO US IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT. Reasons for delays include emergency surgery, emergency office add ons, childbirth, scheduled surgery overruns, hospital problems, scheduling errors, emergency phone calls, and patients being late. If the delay will be more than thirty minutes, we will try to notify you so that you may reschedule your appointment if you wish. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment time, please notify us so that we can give another patient your time slot and not cause you a delay in the future.
We are happy to have you bring your husband, parent or companion with you on any visit and will discuss your care with them, with your consent. We also enjoy seeing your recently delivered infants, however, older children can be disruptive, especially during new patient or extensive consultation visits. All discussions and records in our office are confidential and will not be divulged or released to anyone including family members without your consent. Discussion of your care with a referring physician involves implied consent, however, if you desire certain areas of confidence, we will respect them. To ensure your privacy we do not transmit any medical or billing information electronically and only use mail or fax.
